Study on the Optimal Capacity of On-Road Parking in Urban Center

摘要 城市中心停车供需矛盾诱发的不规范路内停车是导致交通拥堵恶化的原因之一.基于用户出行成本,在考虑了城市中心过境车辆的影响下,建立了以社会剩余最大化为目标的优化模型.在路内停车容量固定时,给出了路内停车最优流率的求解算法;进一步,在路内停车容量可变时,给出了路内停车最优容量的求解算法.数值算例表明了算法的有效性和可行性.研究结果可以用来在给定交通需求下,计算和分析城市中心最优路内停车容量,为停车管理和决策提供理论支撑. On-road parking in the city center is one of the causes of traffic congestion when it's lack of standardization. Based on the user's travel cost, considering the influence of transit vehicles in urban centers, an optimization model with the goal of maximizing social surplus is established. When the parking capacity in the road is fixed, the algorithm for solving the optimal flow rate in the on-street parking is given. Further, when the parking capacity in the road is variable, the algorithm for solving the optimal capacity of the on-street parking is given. A numerical example shows the effectiveness and feasibility of the algorithm.The results of the study can be used to calculate and analyze the first-best on-road parking capacity of the city center under given demand, which provides a theoretical basis for parking management and decision-making.
