钱学森与中国科大近代力学系的建立与初期发展

Qian Xuesen and His Efforts on the Establishment and Initial Development of the Department of Modern Mechanics of USTC

1958年前后,钱学森参与筹备和创办中国科学技术大学,并亲自担任近代力学系主任,推动了尖端科技人才的培养和力学学科的建设和发展。在近代力学系的创办特别是前三届学生的培养过程中,钱学森实践了他所倡导的"技术科学"思想中关于人才培养的理念,从办学理念、培养目标、教学计划等方面探索了"技术科学家"的培养路径,成为中国科大的一项办学特色。

In 1958, Qian Xuesen participated in the preparation and establishment of the University of Science and Technology of China, and became the director of the Department of Modem Mechanics, promoted the cultivation of advanced scientific and technological talents and the establishment and development of mechanics. During the establishing process of the department of modern mechanics especially in the training process of the first three classes students of mechanics, Qian practiced his talents cultivation ideas of his Engineering Science Thought, explored the method of Engineering Scientist cultivation from three aspects： teaching ideas, training objectives, and teaching plans, which became the characteristics of USTC.
