摘要
"红学"何以为"学",是周汝昌持续发问并言说的一个问题,也是红学史研究绕不过去的一个问题。周汝昌据所谓曹学、脂学、版本学、探佚学对红学做排他性的界定,在学理上难以成立,但《红楼梦》研究难度最大死结最集中的,又确实是在周汝昌特别强调的几个领域。由于《红楼梦》研究的特殊难度,以及各种历史因素和足够庞大的研究体量,"红学"虽不足以成为现代学科,但比照甲骨学、敦煌学,作为专学之称,则成立。红学现有研究本身,面临着深刻危机,有很多问题,需要从头梳理。
How can redology become an academic learning? This is a question asked and answered continuously by Zhou Runchang. It is also a question which is unavoidable in the study of redological history. Zhou Ruchang defined redology exclusively based on the so-called study on Cao Xueqin, critics' criticism, editions, and exploration for the missing parts. Although it is hard to accept academically, these are the most difficult points in the study of A Dream of Red Mansions, and are also the research fields stressed by Zhou tluchang. Compared with the study of oracle bones and Dunhuangology, redology may be called a modem academic discipline with its research difficulties, historical factors and fairly large research teams. Redology is faced with many problems and crises and needs to be sorted out from the beginning.
