英语专业本科生毕业论文写作焦虑调查分析 被引量:2

An Investigation on English Major Undergraduates' Thesis Writing Anxiety

摘要 利用问卷调查了八所高校762名英语专业本科生的毕业论文写作焦虑情况。结果显示,英语专业本科生毕业论文写作焦虑涉及语法使用焦虑、词汇使用焦虑、过程焦虑、论证焦虑、评价焦虑和选题焦虑六个维度;他们的毕业论文写作焦虑程度处于中等偏高水平,他们的焦虑主要表现在词汇使用、论证、选题和语法使用等方面;男女生在毕业论文写作总体焦虑和各个维度上没有显著性差异;除了语法使用焦虑分维度,不同英语水平的学生在毕业论文总体焦虑及其它五个分维度上没有显著差异。以上结果为英语毕业论文写作教学在关注重点、评阅焦点等方面提供了启示。 Questionnaires are used to investigate thesis writing anxiety among 762 English major undergraduates in eight universities. There are three findings. First, English majors' thesis writing anxi- eties involve six dimensions: granmar use anxiety, vocabulary use anxiety, process anxiety, demonstra- tion anxiety, evaluation anxiety and topic selection anxiety. Second, they experience thesis writing anxi- ety to a moderately high degree and their anxiety is mainly reflected in vocabulary use, demonstration, topic selection, and granmar use. Third, there is no significant difference in overall thesis writing anxi- ety and its dimensions between male and female students. Except for the granmmr use anxiety, there is no significant difference in overall thesis writing anxiety and its five dimensions among English majors at different levels of English. These results provide some implications such as teaching priorities and re- viewing focus for English thesis writing.
