慕课环境下英语专业学生学习焦虑研究

摘要 该研究以国内外的外语焦虑研究为理论基础,以106名有着慕课学习经历的中国某高校在校英语专业大学生为研究对象,运用量化和质化相结合的研究方法,探究慕课环境下英语专业学生英语学习焦虑。研究发现,慕课环境下英语专业学生学习焦虑有所减轻,原因在于学生的自我满足感增强,相对轻松的考试环境,交际畏惧的减弱以及负评价恐惧的减轻。但就慕课本身的特性而言,焦虑仍然存在。总体来说,慕课环境有利于英语专业学生学习焦虑的减轻,培养英语学习兴趣,提高学习效率。 This study is based oll the study of foreign language anxiety both at home and broad. In this paper, 106 English ma- jors in a Chinese university were studied by using the quantitative and qualitative method. It was found that the anxiety of English majors under the environment of MOOC has been reduced due to the enhancement of students' self - satisfaction, the relatively relaxed examination environment, the weakening of communication apprehension and the lessening of fear of negative evaluation. However, as for as the characteristics of the course itself are concerned, anxiety still exists. Generally speaking, the environment of MOOC is conductive to the reduction of English learning anxiety, the cultivation of English majors' interest in learning and the improvement of learning efficiency.
