论戴维·斯旺格美育思想的三重面相——以《美育论集》为中心

摘要 美国学者戴维·斯旺格(David Swanger)出版于20世纪末的《美育论集》不仅阐释了审美教育与意识形态的关系,而且以移情为核心提出独特的美育认识论,并沿此厘清了美育与道德教育的深度纠缠。这一美育思想,对新世纪我国美育的现代性发展具有积极借鉴意义,也在主要的两点上留有值得进一步研讨的问题,一是对美育与意识形态的关系存在某种简单化理解,二是忽视了移情论仍内含着的二元论思维框架。 Essays in Aesthetic Education , which was published by American scholar David Swanger at the end of last century, on one hand gives a clear interpretation on the relationship between aesthetic education and ideology; on the other hand puts forward a unique aesthetic education epistemology with the focus on empathy, which further clarifies the complicated relation between aesthetic education and moral education. It is of great significance for the development of modernity of aesthetic education in the new era. Moreover, two points are left for further discussion: one is the simplification of understanding towards the relationship between aesthetic education and ideology; the other is the neglecting of the dualistic frame of mind still embedded in the theory of empathy.
