Printmaking is closely related to illustration. It can be said that without the birth of illustrations, there is no development of printmaking technology. Without the development of plate-changing technology, there is no illustrator art that is widely used today. This paper analyzes the relationship between printmaking and illustration. Through the analysis of the mainstream style of app illustration and the practical application of the print design language in the app illustration, the similarity and application case of print and app illustration are used to explain the print on the app. The effects of the illustrations are used, and the development trend of app illustrations is summarized in the app visual form of the past three years.
