高校图书馆的文献资源体系、馆员素质结构、服务技术水平和环境布局氛围等元素,可以体现所在大学的精神内涵和发展理念。在支持高校本身教学与科研的基础上,高校图书馆可以支持地方相关机构科研、利用信息资源和服务提高地方机关或企事业单位员工素质、推进社会精神文明建设等,其将对区域经济社会的发展发挥积极的促进作用。因而,高校图书馆应努力实现资源共享、形成特色馆藏、提高馆员水平、强化科学管理、提升信息化水平。

The spirituality and development concept of a college can be reflected on many elements,such as the resource system of the literature in college library,the competent structure of the librarians,the service level as well as the environment atmosphere of the library to boot. Besides the support on college teaching and scientific research,college library also sustains certain local scientific institutions,uses information and service to improve the quality of the personnel in local enterprise and public institutions and promotes the social spiritual civilization. It is playing a positive and indispensible role in promoting the development of the regional economy. Therefore,college library should develop with the aim to realize the resource sharing,to establish characteristic collection of books,to improve the quality of the librarians,to strengthen scientific administration and to upgrade the informatization level.
