自主学习是以学生为学习的主体，通过学生独立的分析、探索、实践、创造等来实现学习目标。大学生与初高中生在学习上的显著不同应是自主性发挥程度的不同，对此认识不足就会严重影响学生的学习生活以及教师的教学效果。基于这种情况，本文通过抽样调查，结合具体情况，讨论了自主学习的意义，客观分析了独立学院大学生的自主学习能力、现状以及各方面影响因素。
