摘要 作为人类最重要的交际工具和思维工具,语言已成为各学科关注的焦点。中外思想家、修辞学家、美学家和文艺批评家早就注意到了语言审美问题。文学是语言的艺术品,是语言美的集中体现。英美文学作品中语言的音韵美、象征美、隐喻美、结构美、隐含美、幽默讽刺美、精确美和思维美,为读者充分体悟文学语言的无穷魅力提供了源源不断的资源。在英美文学教学中,应当引导学生体会语言的审美意蕴,进而接受人类先进文化的熏陶和哲理的启迪。围绕语言关赏析可展开英美文学课程的三级阶梯式教学模式。学习的过程由感性向理性转化,循序渐进,逐级提升,从而实现文学以美启真、以美育人、以美怡情的美育目标。 As the most important communicating and thinking tool for human beings, language has become the concern of all fields. Philosophers, rhetoricians, estheticians and literary critics at home and abroad have long since paid attention to the aesthetic value of language. Literature is an art made of language and the language beauty is demonstrated to the full in literature works. The beauty of musical effects, metaphors, structures and symbols are illustrated in this paper. The author also guides students to appreciate the implied meaning of language, the accuracy of words, the sarcastic humor and the dialectical philosophy. While appreciating the language beauty, students are also exposed to the related general knowledge and philosophical critical thinking. Literary works could be appreciated through these 3 steps. and the spiritual inspiration in literary In the process, the language, the culture works are explored step by step. The learners' sensibility and sense are developed gradually. They are informed of the truths. They are inspired and they are enchanted.
