摘要
爱伦·坡的哥特小说继承并发展了传统的哥特式写作,他的作品不仅关注传统的外在恐怖因素,而且首次引入了心灵恐怖这一概念。同时,弗洛伊德的暗恐理论也致力于探索心理恐怖这一范畴。因此,可以运用弗洛伊德的暗恐理论对爱伦·坡的哥特小说进行分析,探讨小说中所蕴含的几类暗恐母题,如复影、眼睛和疯狂等,以此证明恐怖的来源并非外在因素而是来自于内心的善恶挣扎,进而揭示暗恐之下的负面美学价值。
Edgar Allan Poe inherits and develops the traditional gothic tales,whose works do not only focus on the traditional exterior horror,but also introduce the inner terror. Thus, in order to prove that the uncanny does not come from the outside world but from the inner struggle between the good and the evil,Poe's gothic tales will be interpreted from Freud's theory of uncanny and its motifs such as the double,eyes and madness,from which the aesthetics of negativity is manifested.
