国家是公民赖以生存发展的社会组织,它既是政治实体,也是伦理实体。对公民来说,国家伦理反映的是公民与国家普遍本质的相互关系。国家伦理追求国家之善,与国家政治文明发展程度密切相关。爱国主义体现公民将自身作为国家成员并赞同国家的文化理念、价值追求、统一目标,是一种对国家利益维护与尊崇的道德精神。公民弘扬爱国主义精神并由此获得一种与国家公共存在一体化的价值皈依。爱国主义在全球化的当今世界遭遇严重挑战,但它依旧是公民国家伦理的价值皈依,是中华民族精神的核心,是中国特色社会主义核心价值观的重要内容,是中华民族伟大复兴的强大精神动力和行为准则。

A country is a social organization for citizens' survival and development, which is both a political entity and an ethical entity. For citizens, national ethic reflects the general and essential relation between citizens and the country. National ethic aims at the goodness of a country, which is closely related to the development of national political civilization. Patriotism show that citizens treat themselves as the members of the country and agree with the cultural conceptions, values and goals of the country to maintain and worship the national interest. By promoting patriotism, citizens gain a value of the integration with the country. Patriotism is meeting great challenges in the present world of globalization, but it remains the citizens' value identity of national ethics, the core of the Chinese national spirit, the key ideas of core values of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and the strong spiritual power and code of conduct for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
