试析“大众传播研究”之人文取向 被引量:5

摘要 藉由引介三个社会科学领域(心理学、老人学以及地理学)过往之反思经验,试探大众传播如何援引人文思想回归"人"之本质并促成研究者关怀人性价值。辨析了"人文取向"之意涵后,简短说明上述三个领域曾经如何试图另辟蹊径地引入人文概念,继而讨论大众传播研究若要同样地发展人文取向则其涉及之相关面向为何,最后检讨如此以"人"为本的大众传播研究意涵当在补充并加强实证论之价值观与方法论,视"人"为传播知识之主体。 By employing past experiences of three social science disciplines, namely psychology, gerontology, and geography, this study explores the possibilities how the mass eonmmnieation research can apply and return to humanistic concepts and consider human values as its basic foundation. The first part of this study introduces various meanings of the humanities, and then briefly illustrates how researchers of the abovementioned disciplines have attempted to introduce humanistic concepts to their individual and respective fields. Following that the third part of this study discusses the dimensions that may be involved in the humanistic perspective of mass communication research. It was emphasized in the final section that the purpose of this study has been to complement the mainstream empirical models of mass conmmnication research by considering "human" as the nucleus of knowledge with a purpose to co -share life stories and pursue better life goals.
