摘要
大型强子对撞机上,CMS探测器通过质心能量为7TeV的质子-质子对撞实验测量了粲夸克喷注与W波色子联合产生过程的总散射截面和微分散射截面.在保持一致的边界条件下,采用蒙特卡罗数值计算程序MadGraph,并分别利用CT10NNLO、CT14NNLO以及MRST2008NNLO部分子分布函数,在标准模型的框架内计算了粲夸克喷注与W波色子联合产生过程的总散射截面和微分散射截面.计算结果与CMS探测器测量实验数据的比较结果表明,两者在误差范围内符合得很好.
The CMS detector at the LHC measured the total cross section and differential cross section in the production of charm quark jet with a W boson by the proton-proton collision experiment with 7 TeV center-mass energy. In the framework of standard model, the total cross section and differential cross section in the production of charm quark jet with a W boson are calculated by using Monte Carlo numerical calculating program MadGraph, CT10NNLO, CT14NNLO and MRST2008NNLO parton distribution function in accord with the same boundary conditions in CMS detector, and the calculation results are compared with the experiment data from CMS detector. The results show that the calculation results reach a good agreement with the experiment data in the range of error.
