The Concepts and Research Contents of Marine Cartography

针对当前在作为海洋测绘学分支学科的海图制图研究中存在的概念内涵过窄、研究内容表述不够完整等问题,采用分析、归纳、比较的研究方法,论证了海图制图学科与海洋测绘学科的从属关系;阐明了海图制图概念的科学内涵,即研究海图及其编制、出版、更新和应用等的理论、技术和方法;明确了海图制图研究的主要内容,具体包括海图发展史、海图分类、海图内容、海图编制、海图出版、海图更新、海图应用和海图标准化等方面,并较为系统、全面地对研究内容的各个方面进行了论述。可为海图制图学科的研究和发展提供重要理论参考。

Aim at the current situation that the concept of marine cartography is narrow, the subject classification and the research contents of which are unclear, by the methods of analysis, induction and inference, the paper demonstrates the relationship between the subjects of marine cartography and hydrographic surveying ＆ charting. It is illuminated that the scientific connotation of marine cartography ,namely, equivalent to the theory, technique and methods of chart compilation, publication, updating and application. As an important branch subject of hydrographic surveying ＆ charting, the main research content of marine cartography is also defined, namely, including chart phylogeny, chart classification, chart contents, chart compilation, chart publication, chart updating ,chart application, chart standardization and so on. The paper will provide an important theoretical reference for the standardization and improvement of the concept, research contents and development direction of marine cartography.
