Jorge Louis Borges understands Chinese culture mainly by reading classical Chinese literary works translated into foreign languages. In the memoir of his later years, Borges＇ 80 Memories, he repeatedly expresses his true feelings of love for China, which have been precipitated by extensive reading and research.
