20世纪上半叶,中国处于内忧外患之境地,边疆地区更是由于帝国主义的侵略、挑唆,危机重重。西藏爱国人士为此不惜生命,为国家统一做出了卓越贡献。西藏拉萨色拉寺杰扎仓堪布阿旺嘉措以"爱国爱教"的坚定信念维护祖国统一,反对分裂,与亲帝势力进行了不懈斗争。解放后,他与中国共产党合作共事参与建设了甘孜地区社会主义新政权,表现了"肝胆相照、荣辱与共"的崇高情操。

China is suffering from external and internal problems during the first half of the 20 th century. Due to imperialist aggression,the frontier regions are at serious risk. Tibetan patriotic personages spared no expense to make remarkable contribution to national reunification. Khanpo Ngawang Gyaltso of Je Khamthsan in Sera Monastery conducts relentless struggle against pro-imperialists,and safeguards the reunification of the motherland and opposes the separation. After national liberation,Khanpo participates in the great work of establishing the socialist new government in Gantse Prefecture. His performance demonstrates his loyalty and faithfulness to the party.
