In The Legend of Zhen Huan,the author puts the naming of characters and their destiny in close combination. In this paper, with the representative characters＇ names,small prints,titles,palace names and the pet names in The Legend of Zhen Huan as the research objects,the relationship between the naming of the characters and the destiny of their characters is discussed,so as to reveal the literary functions of expressing the author＇ s love and hate for the characters,exposing and satirizing the ugly nature of human as well as appealing for and yearning for humanity beauty. The naming skills itself contains a moral and aesthetic connotation,which by nature can be merged into one.
