吉林大学建校以来的70年间,诗人辈出,形成了一种艺术传统。这些诗人为中国诗坛贡献了许多优秀的诗作和前沿的诗歌理论,促进了中国当代诗歌艺术的发展,形成了一个诗歌群体——＂吉林大学诗人群＂。这一诗人群体在中国当代诗歌史中极具影响力,其发展阶段可分为生成期——吉林大学建校至＂文革＂结束;高潮期——＂文革＂结束后至20世纪90年代初期;平稳期——20世纪90年代初至今。

Jilin University,which has been seventy years,has created numbers of campus poets and has formed a prosperous artistic tradition.They contributed many excellent poems and cutting-edge poetry theory that promoted the development of Chinese contemporary poetic art and condensed into a poets group———Jilin University Poets Group。Jilin University Poets Group refers to the poets who studied or worked in Jilin University and published numerous poems and poetry from the beginning of Jilin University（1946）to date.It doesn’t include the one who had little poems and no poetry theory published.Jilin University Poets Group is a highly influential group which cannot be underestimated in the history of Chinese contemporary poetry development.It’s can be divided into the generation of Jilin University poets group———from the beginning of Jilin University to the end of Cultural Revolution;the most prosperous and thrive period———from the end of Cultural Revolution to the early 1990s;the period of development and stability———from the early 1990s to date.
