从目的论视角看《甄嬛传》的字幕翻译策略

The Translation Strategy of Empresses in the Palace from the View of Skopos Theory

为了探寻文化类文本外译的翻译方法,笔者从功能主义翻译目的论视角出发来探析《甄嬛传》字幕翻译的策略。通过目的论主要原则及其在字幕翻译中的适用性,对其字幕翻译实例进行探究;另外,也对《甄嬛传》字幕翻译的翻译方法进行分析,发现归化策略是《甄嬛传》字幕翻译使用的主要策略;在归化策略下,译者还采用了增词、减词和替换等具体的翻译方法,这为文化类文本的翻译提供了一种可供参考的翻译策略与方法论。

In order to explore the translation methods of cultural texts, the author explores the strategies for the subtitle translation of Empresses in the Palace from the perspective of Skopos theory. Through the principle of Skopos theory and its applicability in subtitle translation, the author analyzes the subtitle translation examples and the translation methods of the subtitle translation of Empresses in the Palace. After comprehensive analysis, we find that the domestication strategy is the main strategy for subtitle translation of Empresses in the Palace. Under domestication strategy, the translator uses addition,omission and replacing method, which provides a reference translation strategy and methodology for the translation of cultural texts.
