《永远有多远》是铁凝优秀的中篇小说,作品以上世纪60到90年代典型老北京"仁义"姑娘白大省的四段失败爱情为叙述主体,在她屡战屡败的爱情经历中,作者思索现代女性在主体自我与传统角色间艰难而执着的探寻,同时以回望式的叙事策略书写被现代化和商品化浸染后北京城面貌与品格都悄然变迁的现实。最后以决然的姿态表明在"变"与"不变"间寻找契合并永恒坚守的精神旨归,在女性与城市的同构中饱含作者发自内心的关怀、体贴与爱。
"How Far Away Is Forever" is Tie Ning's excellent novella. The novel takes the four failed romances of Bai Da-jian, a typical old Beijing girl from the 1960 s to the 1990 s as the narrative subject. In the heroine's repeated defeats of love, the author ponders on the difficult and persistent exploration between modern women's subjective self and traditional roles. Meanwhile, with a retrospective narrative strategy, the author writes about the reality that the appearance and character of Beijing have changed quietly after being influenced by modernization and commercialization. Finally, the author menifests the spiritual purpose of seeking the conjunction between "change"and "invariability"and persisting in it forever, showing his heartfelt care, consideration and love for women in the isomorphism of women and cities.
