Career Plateau:A Literature Review and Future Research

职业生涯高原是员工对未来职业发展的主观评价,它强调了员工如何对当前的工作情境进行感知、评估和反应。首先,回顾了职业生涯高原的概念、理论基础及维度与测量;其次,从个人和组织两个层次探讨了职业生涯高原的影响因素;再次,分析了职业生涯高原对工作压力、工作动机、工作态度和工作绩效的影响效果;最后,对未来研究方向进行了展望。

Career plateau is the employees＇ perceptions for future career development. It emphasi- zes how employees perceive, evaluate and respond to current work situations. This paper reviews the concept, theoretical basis, dimensions and measurements of career plateau, and then discusses its an- tecedents from individual and organization aspects. Subsequently, this paper discusses the effects of career plateau on job stress, work motivation, attitudes and performance. Finally, the future research directions are discussed.
