Experience by Professor XU Ruirong in the Treatment of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia

徐瑞荣教授认为慢性淋巴细胞白血病虚实夹杂,大实有羸状,至虚有盛候,因此治疗中攻补结合,并重视后天之本的固护。在治疗过程中,根据疾病的不同分期,辨证论治,运用经典方剂,并结合现代药理研究,加用含砷类药物雄黄等,在以毒攻毒的基础上,固护脾胃之气,化解雄黄等药物所致的不良反应。

According to Professor XU Ruirong,chronic lymphocytic leukemia is the mixture of deficiency and excess,in which the extreme excess manifests as deficiency while the extreme deficiency manifests as excess,and hence the attack and tonification should be combined in the treatment and the postnatal should be emphasized. During the treatment,according to the different stages of the disease,syndrome differentiation should be conducted,classical formulas should be applied in combination with modem pharmacological research. Also the arsenic-containing medicinals like Xionghuang should be applied for attacking toxin with toxin. Besides,spleen and stomach qi should be protected to counteract adverse reactions caused by toxic medicinals like Xionghuang.
