The Road of Tibetan Study of a Son of Hehuang——Interview Record with Mr.Xie Zuo

青海不仅是我国藏族人口主要聚居地之一,也是我国藏学研究的重镇,尤其是1949年新中国成立以来,青海地区藏学研究人才辈出,硕果累累,为推动我国藏学研究事业的全面繁荣发展做出了重大贡献。谢佐先生是改革开放后我国培养的第一届古藏文硕士研究生,是国内外著名藏学家。从他的学术生涯中,我们不仅可以体会到老一辈学者精益求精认真严谨的治学精神,而且也能深刻领会到青海地方藏族文化的博大精深,以及藏族和其他兄弟民族间长期以来交往交流交融的突出特点。

Qinghai is one of the main habitations of Tibetan, also the main place of Tibetan study. Since 1949, after the establishment of new China, large numbers of talents in Tibetan studies came forward, and achieved countless rich fruits in research that made great contribution for our Tibetan study cause. Mr.Xie Zuo was the first group of educated graduate on Tibetan major after the reform and opening-up, and later the famous Tibetologist. From his academic life, we can see his excelsior and rigorous learning spirit, also can see the extensive and profound Tibetan culture in Qinghai and the noticeable communication between Tibetan and people from other nationalities.
