ASEAN Economic Community and Its FDI Dimension

东盟经济共同体（AEC）的终极目标之一是建成“单一市场和生产基地”及“完全融入全球经济体系的极具竞争力的经济区域”。除了贸易自由化和便利化之外，吸收外国直接投资（FDI）在很大程度上成为判断东盟一体化进程是否成功的重要指标。本研究试图考察东盟经济共同体的发展与外国直接投资的流入趋势，探讨东盟经济共同体是否实现了成为具有竞争力生产基地的目标，并指出东盟经济共同体建设过程中可能存在的阻碍因素。

One of the ultimate objectives of ASEAN Economic Community （AEC） is to create a ＂single market and production base＂ and a ＂highly compet-itive economic region fully integrated in the global economy＂ . Besides trade lib- eralization and facilitation, the FDI inflows largely become an important indicator to determine the success or failure of ASEAN＇s integration efforts.
