Cultural Exchanges and Its Function to Improve the International Relations in the East Asia

本文试图从历史与现实相结合的视角，论述如何认识和运用文化交流的渠道改善东亚国际关系。论文着重从遗产与传统、桥梁与纽带、推动与借鉴、聚同与化异等四个方面，阐述文化交流在东亚国际关系和周边外交中能够起到的积极作用，探讨怎样使其有助于改善邻国相处之道，促进东亚国际关系回到睦邻友好、健康发展的道路上来。

From a perspective that connects the history and the reality, paper discusses how to improve international relations in East Asia through a this rec- ognition and use of the channels of cultural exchange. The author focuses on the following four aspects of the positive effects of cultural exchange on international relations in East Asia： legacy and tradition, bridge and tie, promotion and refer ence, and convergence and divergence. The author indicates and elaborates the proper way to implement the cultural exchange for the purpose of promoting thefriendship in East Asia, which may lead the neighboring countries to a healthy road for the shared future of the region.
