My Perspective on the China-Pak ＆ BCIM Corridors as the Pilot Projects for China＇s ＂the Belt and Road＂ Initiative

中巴经济走廊建设和孟中印缅经济走廊建设是中国＂一带一路＂的两大重要支点。本文提出了中巴经济走廊和孟中印缅经济走廊成为＂一带一路＂建设示范工程的战略意义,梳理了建设中巴经济走廊和孟中印缅经济走廊面临的挑战,提出了防止两大经济走廊成为＂一带一路＂烂尾楼工程的观点。

China-Pakistan ＆ BCIM construction model for China＇s ＂the Belt economic corridors will play a role of and Road＂ initiative. This paper will focus upon the following two aspects： （1） The strategic significance of ＂ChinaPakistan ＆ BCIM economic corridors＂ as pilot projects for the construction of China＇s ＂the Belt and Road＂ ; （2） challenges or impediments of the China-Paki- stan ＆ BCIM economic corridors and the problem of how to prevent the corri- dors from becoming failed projects？
