As an important part of postgraduate education system,professional degree postgraduate education is themain route of high - level application - oriented personnel cultivating.Firstly,the connotation characteristics and need ofability training for professional degree postgraduate were analyzed.Secondly,the problems existed in present professionaldegree postgraduate cultivating were teased out.Finally,the reform and innovation of professional degree postgraduatecultivating mechanism from foundation and perfection of connotative development direction and capacity generationorientation are put forward.
