宁陕县天蛾科昆虫共有5亚科23属49种,云纹天蛾亚科和斜纹天蛾亚科是宁陕县天蛾科昆虫的优势类群,古北界14种、占该县总种数的28.57%,东洋界19种、占该县总种数的38.78%,古北—东洋共有种12种、占该县总种数的24.49%。宁陕县天蛾科昆虫东洋界组分占优势,古北界和东洋-古北共有种类次之。东洋界、古北界和古北-东洋界共有种三大类群是宁陕县天蛾科主要组成成分。

There are 5 subfamilies, 23 genera and 49 species of Sphingidae in Ningshan County. The subfamilies of Ambulicinae and Choerocampinae are the dominant groups in Ningshan County. There are 14 species of Palaeard boundary accounting for the total number of 28.57% and 19 species in the Oriental realm accounting for 38.78% of the total species in the county, and 12 species in shared by the two above accounting for 24.49% of the total species in the county. The Oriental species are dominant in Ningxian County, followed by Palaeard and Oriental-Palaeard species.
