In traditional production process of sodium pyrosulfite, sulphur resource needed to be pro＇chased, resulting in high pro- duction cost and low profit margin. In new production process of sodium pyrosulfite, desulphufization regeneration gas acted as materi- al, sodium pyrosulfite produced had high purity and less impurity resulted from human factors. Compared with traditional process, new production process of sodium pyrosulfite was provided with low cost, high profit margin. Based on comprehensive data analysis of process technology, equipment investment and product profit, the new process will replace traditional ones.
