科学合理的风景园林绿地规划是提高园林绿地生态效能、改善人居环境质量、营造高品质空间景观的主要手段和基本保障。风景园林主题是风景园林规划设计的中心思想,主题设计是风景园林规划设计的灵魂与统帅,不仅可以在园林绿地中形成最优的景观结构,增强景观的可辨识性,深化风景园林意境,还可以提升风景园林的品位、景观价值及对游人的吸引力。文章系统阐述了主题的概念、主题功能及主题与意境的关系,对主题分类与主题设计类型进行了划分,总结并提出了主题立意依据、立意原则及立意方法,以期为风景园林主题设计提供一定的理论指导。

The article systematically expounds the concept and function of the theme. The relationship between the theme and the artistic conception is also expatiated. The topic classification and the theme design type are classified. The theme basis, the principle of intention and the method of intention are summarized.
