思想政治教育是素质教育的重要组成部分,也是大学教育的重要环节。大学生思想政治教育是大学开展的教育活动,主要目的是为了加强大学生对思想政治的认识,提升大学生的思想水平和政治素养,从而促进大学生的全面发展。在当前时期,大学生思想政治教育还存在着一些问题,这些问题阻碍了大学生的进步,也妨碍了思想政治教育质量的提升。思想政治教师作为思想政治教育的主要工作者,要研究并使用新的思想政治教学模式,从而加强大学生思想政治教育的针对性、科学性和实效性。
