Taking a dredger filling project in Chongming island of Shanghai as an example, this paper expounds the application of settlement value estimation method in dredger filling project, and introduces the calculation method of settlement value. The purpose of this paper is to provide a theoretical reference for the settlement value estimation during the construction of dredger filling project, and improve the design level of dredger filling project, optimize economic benefits and promote the rational use of resources.
