An Analysis of the CPC and the Overseas Chinese Teaching Institute

中国国民党党立华侨运动讲习所是第一次国共合作的历史产物。它的任务是培养国民党海外党务活动骨干和华侨运动的积极分子,借此推动海外华侨革命运动的发展,以配合国内国民革命。它招训的成员非常特殊,以海外华侨子弟为主。它是中共初次接触华侨事务的实践,为此后中共制定侨务政策及开展侨务活动提供了有益的借鉴。

The Overseas Chinese Teaching Institute, called ＂Overseas Chinese Teaching Institute of the Kuomin- tang＂, was the product of the first KMT-CPC cooperation. The mission of the institute was to develop the backbone of the overseas party affairs of the Kuomintang and the activists of the overseas Chinese movement, in order to promote the development of overseas Chinese revolutionary movement to meet the domestic national revolution. The overseas Chinese descendants were the main recruitment object. This was the first time that the CPC was in contact with overseas Chinese affairs, which afforded the useful experience for the CPC to make the policy of overseas Chinese affairs.
