摘要 提出了一种在强度调制/直接检测(IM/DD)通用滤波多载波(UMFC)系统中提升系统误差向量幅度(EVM)以及误码率(BER)性能的新方案.在这一方案中,使用了非均匀量化DAC来减少量化误差(SQNR).通过仿真,在10-Gb/s,16-OQAM调制的UMFC系统(4和5位DAC,光纤传输距离为20km)中验证了该方案的可行性.仿真结果显示,相较于均匀量化的方式,文章提出的方案能极大地提升系统性能.在相同的系统性能下,基于信号分布的量化方式所需求的位比特分辨率比均匀量化方式少一位. In this paper, we proposes a new scheme for improving the error vector magnitude (EVM) and bit error rate (BER) performance in intensity modulated/direct detection (IM/DD) universal filtering multi-carrier (UMFC) systems. As for our scheme, a non-uniform quantization DAC is used for quantization error (SQNR). Through simulation, the feasibility of this scheme is verified in a 10-Gb/s, 16-OQAM modulated UMFC system (4- and 5-bit DACs with a fiber transmission distance of 20 km). Simulation results show that, compared with the uniform quantization method, our scheme can greatly improve the system performance. With the same system performance, the required bit-bit resolution based on the signal distribution quantization method is one bit less than the uniform quantization method.
