东方落后国家要在经济全球化时代进行社会主义革命,首先就要面对由物质积累在发达国家、贫困积累在发展中国家带来的社会主义诞生条件分离的整体性历史境遇。这就对东方落后国家建设社会主义提出双重要求,一方面要利用资本文明发展生产力,另一方面要防止被强势的国际资本支配。中华人民共和国成立后建立的社会主义计划经济体制和社会主义市场经济体制本质地契合于资本全球化时代的社会主义实践要求,因而改革开放前后两个时期根本地融贯于实现民富国强的中华民族伟大复兴的历史进程中。

To carry out the socialist revolution in the backward eastern countries under the background of globalization, we must first face the whole historical situation of the separation of the conditions for the birth of socialism brought by the accumulation of materials in developed countries and the accumulation of poverty in developing countries. This puts forward double requirements for the construction of socialism in backward countries in the east.
