Cultural self - confidence is the most profound self - confidence,and it is the spiritual pillar to enhance the country＇ s cultural soft power. This article first defines the scientific connotation of cultural self - confidence and national cultural soft power. According to the connotation of both,firm cultural confidence plays an important role in enhancing the country＇ s cultural soft power;then it proposes the current cultural self - confidence deficiencies in China,thus positioning the reasons for the causes for the deficiencies. Finally,it proposes measures to enhance the country＇ s cultural soft power.
