Manufacturing of Beijing has gradually withdrawn from the central city, whether the same trend in high-tech manufacturing, how to re-layout is more conducive to enhance the efficiency of the industry. This paper analyzes the spatial evolution characteristics of high-tech manufacturing industry in Beijing by qualitative and quantitative methods, then uses the growth algorithm to estimate the total factor productivity growth of 170 township streets in Beijing, and compares with the spatial evolution trend of high-tech manufacturing industry. The study found that Beijing’s high-tech manufacturing industry appeared suburbanization phenomenon, and was polycentric structure distributed in the outskirts of the outskirts of the city area. Total factor productivity growth is fragmented, but the highest growth rate of the middle circle does not match the main concentration of high-tech manufacturing. The spatial evolution trend of Beijing high-tech manufacturing industry is consistent with the distribution of total factor productivity, which shows that the spatial structure of high-tech manufacturing industry in Beijing still does not reach equilibrium and has the power to further migrate to the periphery.
