Through the case study, this article explores the different types and methods of urban renewal, and explains the changes and impacts on cities before and after the renewal from the perspective of comparative analysis. At the same time, the urban renewal is placed under the background of social culture to understand the inheritance and innovation of regional culture in a deeper level and further obtain the experience and methods of better building the urban environment.
