Article introduces the function and characteristics of concrete mixing station control system based on Siemens PLC and touch screen. The hardware design,program design and touch screen configuration of the system are emphatically described. PLC as the main controller of the system,by collecting the field sensor signal to control the actuator. As the auxiliary controller,the touch screen replaces the button,the switch and the field instrument,and as the man-machine interface,it realizes the monitoring of the user management,ingre dient formulation and stirring process of concrete. The actual operation of the mixing station shows that the system is characterized by simple operation,friendly human-computer interaction,high degree of automation,high reliability,high stability and high efficiency.Finally,it is emphasized that ＂IPC＋actuator＋instrument＋PLC＂ is the development trend of concrete mixing station in the future.
