Process and Experience of the Party's Popularization of Marxism During the 40 Years of Reform and Opening up

改革开放40年以来,中国共产党大力推进马克思主义大众化尤其是当代中国马克思主义大众化,以正确的理论武装和引导人民群众,不断推进中国特色社会主义事业,取得了巨大成就,积累了许多宝贵经验。这些经验包括:要在不断推进马克思主义中国化的过程中推进马克思主义的大众化;要坚持以人民群众为本的原则来推进马克思主义大众化;要充分发挥不同主体在马克思主义大众化过程中的合力作用;要与非马克思主义的思潮进行不懈斗争;要坚持和加强党对马克思主义大众化的领导。

Since reform and opening up 40 years ago, the Communist Party of China has vigorously promoted popularization of Marxism, especially popularization of contemporary Chinese Marxism. It armed and guided the masses with correct theories, and continuously promoted the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Great achievements have been made and many valuable experiences have been accumulated.These experiences include： to promote popularization of Marxism in the process of continuously promoting Sinicization of Marxism; to adhere to the principle of “the masses oriented” to promote popularization of Marxism; to give full play to roles of different subjects in popularization of Marxism; to fight unremittinglyagainst trend of non Marx thought; to uphold and strengthen the Party’s leadership over popularization of Marxism.
