Discourse,as a product of social practice,implies the specific social relations and ideology tendencies.The purpose of Critical Discourse Analysis（CDA）is providing a perspective to uncover the interrelationship between discourse,social facts,social power and ideology.This article will make the description and analysis on the classification,modality and nominalization of the speech made by Faisal,Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia,at the 70th Session of the UN General Assembly,and try to summarize the use of different discourse forms or language structures,to explores its different meanings and functions,and to implies speakers＇ideological inclination or speech intention.
