Application of Extensible MRML in Content-based Image Retrieval System

基于内容的图像检索系统一直缺乏一个通用的通信协议和机制,使得组件复用难以实现。多媒体检索标记语言MRML的出现解决了这一问题,文章设计了一个基于MRML的CBIR系统,同时为了满足可视化查询需要对MRML进行了扩展,最后给出一个具体应用实例。

Content-based image retrieval systems have long been lacking a common communication protocol and mechanism,which makes it difficult for the reuse of components.The multimedia retrieval markup language(MRML) provides a solution to this problem. This paper designs a MRML-based CBIRS, which extends MRML to satisfy the need of visual query and specifies an application instance.
