摘要 小说《赫克尔贝里·芬历险记》无异于一本文学版的"独立宣言",其中涉及的平等、安全、自由、独立等重大的人类话题,是马克·吐温政治哲学和艺术哲学的核心内容。本文从创作题材与艺术个性、人物形象塑造和风景描写等不同的角度,探寻了《赫克尔贝里·芬历险记》所展示的独立精神,重新阐释了马克·吐温在美国乃至世界文学领域备受推崇的主要原因。 Mark Twain' s The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn which acts as the core contents of his political philosophy and art philosophy, was regarded as the literary Declaration of Independence included such important humanistic issues as equality, safety, liberty and independence. The essay probes into the independent spirit of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn from aspects of subject matter, artistic individuality, shaping of character and scenery description, illustrating the major reasons of Mark Twain' s literary fame in American and around the world.
