In this paper, the drafting purpose, basis and main contents of the group standards T/ZBH 004-2018 “Insulating glass sealants” constituted by China Building Glass and Industrial Glass Assciation were described. Refering to the home and abroad advanced standards, the technical requirements, indexes and test methods provided by the standard are more scientific, reasonable and comprehensive. It is helpful to improve the quality of domestic insulating glass sealant products and provide the technical support for construction safety and energy saving.
