文章是为商务印书馆即将出版的学生国学丛书《李白诗选》所写的新编导言。以"诗仙的梦想""诗仙的梦现""诗仙的梦灭""诗仙的梦幻"和"酒仙与诗仙"五大板块构成,以历时为脉络,客观而公正地揭示出诗仙太白跌宕起伏的一生。

This article is also the Preface to the Selected Poems by Li Bai to be published by Shangwu Yinshuguan Publishing House. It consists of the following five parts： the Poetic Immortal＇s dream, the emergence of the Poetic Immortal＇ s dream, the evaporation of the Poetic Immortal＇ s dream, the re-illusion of the Poetic Immortal＇ s dream, and the Drinking Immortal ＆ the Poetic Immortal. In chronological order, it reveals the rise and fall of Li Bai＇s life in an objective and honest point of view.
