老年肿瘤患者对中医防治肿瘤疾病的认知现状

Cognition about Preventing and Treating Cancer with Chinese Medicine of Elderly Patients in Changsha

目的:调查老年肿瘤患者对中医防治肿瘤疾病相关知识的认知现状,分析老年肿瘤患者对中医健康服务的需求。方法:采用自制问卷对随机分层抽取的湖南中医药大学第一附属医院270名老年肿瘤患者进行调查。结果:老年肿瘤患者对传统中医文化较熟悉的为中医中药(>50%);对中医特色保健活动较熟悉的为太极拳(>50%);日常运动锻炼最常用项目为散步(>50%);对传统中医特色技术,不同职业、工资以及保险类型的老年肿瘤患者了解程度差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);是否选择中医医院治疗或采取中医辅助治疗主要依据病情而定。结论:老年肿瘤患者对中医防治肿瘤疾病方面的知识有一定的了解,需进一步加强中医防治肿瘤疾病的宣传,提升老年人群对中医防治肿瘤的认知。

Objective： To investigate the status of elderly patients＇ knowledge about preventing and curing tumor diseases with TCM in Changsha city, and analyze the needs of health service in elderly patients with tumor. Methods： A self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate 270 elderly cancer patients in The First Affiliated Hospital of Hu＇nan University of Chinese Medicine. Results： In traditional Chinese culture, the elderly patients with tumor are more familiar with the culture of Chinese medicine（〉50%）; For health care activities in traditional Chinese medicine, the elderly inpatients with tumor are more familiar with Taijiquan（〉50%）; Walking is the most common item in daily exercise（〉50%）; besides, the knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine items in elderly patients with tumor are obviously different for different occupation, wages and insurance types（P〈0.05）; the elderly patients with tumor choosing treating in traditional Chinese medicine hospitals or treating with Chinese medicine mainly depended on their condition. Conclusion： The elderly tumor patients＇ understanding of the knowledge of Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of tumor diseases are not enough, and it is necessary to strengthen the propaganda of Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of tumor diseases and promote the cognition of Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of tumor in the elderly.
