On the Worshipping, Protection and Exploitation of Huaxu Mausoleum

通过分析历代文献中记载的华胥氏和华胥陵,结合现代考古学的发现,运用二重证据法,论证祭祀华胥氏的可行性和重要性,探讨和谐处理蓝田祭祀华胥氏和其他地方祭祀先祖的合理方法,阐述华胥陵祭祀对促进蓝田区域经济发展的作用。

Through analysis of the records among dynasties documents on Huaxushi and Huaxu Mausoleum in combination with the recent archaeological discovery, and by means of dual attestation,this paper was intended to argue over the feasibility and importance of worshipping Huaxushi, and elucidates the harmonious relationship between sacrifice offering events of Huaxushi in Lantian County of Shannanxi and appropriate ways of worship to Chinese ancestor in other parts of our country for the purpose of exploring the reasonable approach to worshipping. A discussion was conducted of the functions that Huaxushi Mausoleum worshipping performs in promoting the regional economy of Lantian County.
