A Study on the Epitaph of Tian Shu of the Tang Dynasty

唐代田姝墓志于1987年由三门峡市文物工作队发掘出土,经考释,田姝曾祖田庭,祖父为田弘正,父田牟,在唐末河北藩镇割据自立的情形下,田氏父子三代忠心为唐,堪称楷模。该墓志修正和补缺了晚唐宰相田弘正家族的世系表与事迹。

The epitaph of Tian Shu of the Tang Dynasty was uncovered in 1987 in the city of Sanmenxia by the Archaeological Team of Sanmenxia. Tian Shu＇s grandfather was Tian Hongzheng and father was Tian Mou. The Tian family showed their loyalty to the Tang Court at the end of the dynasty when the Emperors gradually lost control over the warlords. with a detailed record of Tian＇s family and life, the epitaph has supplemented or corrected historical records about the family.
