清代乾隆时期小说家作为封建末世士人,大多数人所走的仍然是科举道路。但在经过科举路上的挫折之后,他们开始对科举制度下士人窘迫、消极的生存状态进行反思,对科举制度造成的士人人格的蜕变提出质疑,并试图摆脱科举制度的束缚,探索积极合理的士人生活道路。

As bachelors of late feudal society,novelists in the Qianlong period mostly choose imperial examination.After frustration on the way of imperial examination,they introspect to their poverty-stricken and negative living status,challenge transformation of personality caused by imperial examination,and try to get rid of it,search a positive and reasonable living way for bachelors.
